Spectral Processor
The SA-3 takes the algorithms of the Engineering Emmy Award winning SA-2 Dialog Processor to another level. Added features include adding over 1,000 bands of processing, a user programmable Bias Curve, unique Focus, Range, and Density control over spectral processing, side chain support and mid/side processing.
Like the SA-2, the SA-3 is great for removing unwanted spectral spikes in dialog, vocals, and many other kinds of audio inputs. The SA-3 is also able to track and eliminate persistent peaks, at nearly any frequency in the audio spectrum.
The gain reduction, final output, or removed signal can be monitored and metered in the main LCD screen. Plot scales can be adjusted for gain reduction and output displays.

Detect and Monitor
Detect is the sensitivity of the overall algorithm, like a global threshold across the entire frequency spectrum. Monitor allows the user to listen to the removed signal.
Spectral Metering
The main LCD window can show the metering of all frequencies of the final output or gain reduction processing. The total Bias Curve response is also shown in this plot/meter.
Mid / Side
Enables or disabled mid/side processing. This can be useful for removing spikes and/or resonant frequencies from the mid and side channels.
Density
Increase or decrease the amount of spectral processing for frequencies at and above the fundamental frequency spike or resonance.
Bias
The entire Bias Curve can be enabled/disabled by the Bias button, and the total Bias Curve response can be adjusted with the Scale and Shift controls.
Pan
The level adjustment between the left and right channels, or the mid and side channels (when mid/side processing is enabled).

For the activation you can either choose between using an iLok dongle (iLok 2 or iLok 3) or the iLok Cloud authorization process.
The iLokDongle can be used to run the protected software on different computers. Your licenses can be easily manged using the iLok License Manager. A internet connection on any computer and a free user-accout at www.ilok.com are required to authorize the product. To protect your investment against theft or loss we recommend the iLok Zero Downtime protection with TLC.

iLok Cloud requires an iLok account, which can be setup for free at www.ilok.com. Please install the latest version of iLok License Manger so you can manage your authorizations and active an iLok Cloud session. An active internet connection is required for all iLok Cloud sessions.
Please check with the software manufacturer which iLok version is required at least if you want to use a hardware iLok!
