The Slower sample content is recorded onto four different kinds of tape machines for you to choose from.

• Portable: Uher 4400 Report IC and Uher 4400 Report Monitor - small reel to reel
• Cassette: Tascam Portastudio 424mkiii - standard cassette
• Dictaphone: Sony M650v dictaphone - micro cassette

Slower features a robust effects section with 27 built-in effects and extensive sound design tools, including an amp envelope, LFOs, modulation envelope, step modulator, and aftertouch. Its customizable five-slot FX chain allows for creative combinations of delay, distortion, reverb, and filters, tailored by sound designers to fit the Slower library. Reverse samples add ethereal sounds with slow attack, while noise and wobble controls enhance tape characteristics. Most parameters are modifiable, offering extensive sound processing options for both subtle enhancements and dramatic changes, ensuring a unique and engaging music production experience.

Macro Controls

Slower includes three macro controls for single-knob manipulation of multiple parameters, enabling real-time sound transformation and effortless automation. This intuitive system makes it easy to create dynamic, expressive performances and interactively shape your sounds.
