Smoker’s Streetlight: Chill Jazzy Hip Hop from Big Fish Audio offers 20 construction kits full of laid back inspiration. This project utilizes a new school combination of Chill Beats, Tropical Pop, Jazz, Funk, and Old School Hip Hop to pull off the authentic sound to the kickback at the pad.

To achieve that vibe, we recorded a bunch of live saxophone, vocals, drums, and jazz percussion. From there, we creatively processed the sounds with vinyl players, outboard tape saturation, and resampling through MPC hardware to get that true-to-genre timbre. As always, everything is in song style format and processed via SSL and Neve equipment to achieve radio-ready quality. True heads know to find their beats under the Smoker’s Streetlight.
