An Imaginary Space Machine

SpaceBlender is an experimental reverb that lets you create unreal and imaginary spaces, offering shapes, textures, and tones impossible in the real world.

Inspired by ambient music pioneers, it produces lush, evolving spatial effects and cinematic swells. Its controls for time, color, and texture allow precise shaping of reverb length, brightness, and character, while modulation and freeze functions create dynamic, evolving effects and self-feedback loops. The X/Y Visualizer provides intuitive, real-time control over the reverb’s shape and evolution.

SpaceBlender works for both avant-garde sound design and everyday music production, adding depth to vocals, guitars, synths, and more. Developed by experienced DSP designers, it blends experimental sound design with classic reverb characteristics, drawing inspiration from instruments like the Lexicon 224 and Swarmatron.
