Three South Indian Temple Percussion Kits
Sonic Atlas Temple Drums of India combines three South Indian temple percussion traditions in playable expansion kits: Pancha Vadhyam, Chenda Melam and Kailaya Vathiyam. The ensembles were recorded with 40 temple musicians across Kerala and Tamil Nadu, with separate solo, duo and full ensemble performances. The kits include velocity-layered one-shots, round robins, tempo-synced loops and fills, plus Close and Ambient microphone positions. Performance patches combine loops and one-shots, while Sonic Atlas provides time-stretching, transpose and performance effects.
