Thorus is a premium chorus effect that combines classic modulation with advanced DSP technology. Built on a state-of-the-art chorus algorithm and enhanced by technologies developed for Sparkverb and Falcon, Thorus delivers exceptionally deep modulation while maintaining remarkable clarity and detail.
Unlike traditional chorus effects that rely on two or four voices, Thorus features a variable 8-voice architecture. This allows everything from subtle widening effects to rich, immersive modulation with outstanding transparency across the entire parameter range.
Flexible and Easy to Use
Integrated filtering tools provide precise tonal shaping, allowing you to tame highs, tighten low frequencies, or add harmonic presence. Two operating modes offer additional flexibility: “Standard” preserves the natural stereo image of the source material, while “Wide” creates an expansive stereo field for larger-than-life sounds.

Required Registration:
To use UVI products, you must register with the manufacturer at www.uvi.net. A free iLok account is also required for license activation. Download, installation, and product management are handled through the free UVI Portal.
This product requires an activation!
You can either "soft" activate on your computer without addditional hardware or transfer the license to an iLok USB dongle which has to be purchased separately. The iLok dongle can be used to run the protected software on different computers. Your licenses can be easily manged using the iLok Licence Manager. To protect your investment against theft or loss we recommend the iLok Zero Downtime protection with TLC.
An internet connection on any computer and a free user-accout at www.ilok.com is required to authorize the product.
Please check with the software manufacturer which iLok version is required at least if you want to use a hardware iLok!
