The Sound

Velvet Guitars captures a wide emotional and sonic spectrum, from soft, velvety tones to raw, cinematic textures that push the guitar beyond its traditional role. It offers familiar, soulful tones alongside distinctive articulations like shimmering harmonics, reversed swells, and textured feedback drifting through real amps and spring reverbs.

The Guitars

Velvet Guitars includes five distinct personalities, each tuned for warmth and color: Velvet Guitar, Mellow Baritone, Shimmer Guitar, Semi Hollow, and Amped Acoustic. Together, these instruments offer a broad emotional spectrum while maintaining a cozy, velvety, and distinctive overall character.

Amps, Reverb, and Tremolo

Velvet Guitars draws its tone from legendary classic vintage amps, often referred to as the American clean and the British chime. The spring reverb is the classic amp spring, with tremolos modeled directly from the vintage amps, plus additional tremolo styles inspired by well-known pedals with sync-to-host functionality.

• Versatile Sustains: Create dynamic performances with sustains and mutes across multiple guitars and amp setups.

• Chord Options: Easily select major or minor chords in chord-based presets.

• Intuitive Modwheel Control: Switch or blend between articulations seamlessly for enhanced playability and expression.

Works with Native Instruments Kontakt 8.5.1 or the free Kontakt Player. Fully compatible with Native Instruments NKS2.

This product requires the free Native Instruments Kontakt Player, the latest version can be downloaded through Native Access, Native Instrument’s download manager!
