Modeled on the Classic Gain Brain II

VP BRAINIAC II is a VCA compressor modeled after the Valley People Gain Brain II, a dynamic processor known for combining fast transient control with a musical compression response. Its program-dependent gain reduction analyzes incoming audio and adjusts the compression behavior accordingly. The plugin is suitable for vocals, drums and other dynamic acoustic or percussive sources. It also recreates the original release mode behavior with Linear and Logarithmic options, includes peak reversion correction circuitry and provides external sidechain functionality via key mode.
