ALT-436C Tube Compressor Emulation
The ALT-436C is a software emulation of a classic late-1950s vari-mu tube compressor amplifier. Based on the third revision of the original hardware, it includes Threshold and Release Time controls in addition to its fixed attack characteristics. The compressor is suitable for controlling dynamics on bass guitars, vocals, string instruments and synthesizers, while also adding the tonal character associated with vintage tube compression. The model is powered by Antelope Audio's FPGA technology.
