Vintage Tube Graphic Equalizer
The Blonder-Tongue Audio Baton is an emulation of a 1959 all-tube graphic equalizer designed for the Synergy Core FX platform. It features nine frequency bands arranged according to notes and octaves of a piano keyboard, allowing frequency-specific adjustments across the spectrum. The original hardware was used in recording and playback environments to correct frequency response issues, including low-end loss, harsh highs and uneven tonal balance. The emulation reproduces the original tube-based signal path and includes a Magic Eye peak meter for visual level monitoring.
