EKX Upright Piano - Östlind & Almquist Upright Piano
The sounds of this EKX Library for EZkeys 2 come from a perfectly tuned Steinway and Sons Model D grand piano in excellent condition. This superb sounding instrument is considered a timeless industry standard with a distinctively individual sound character. It was sampled in one of Sweden's most renowned recording studios using the finest recording equipment (vintage and modern) in the usual consummate Toontrack quality. The sound of the grand piano is mixed in such a way that it can be used perfectly in any production situation without further elaborate processing. In addition, a large selection of specially created effect presets is available, which can be further adjusted in their sound via individual parameters and thus allow almost endless individual sound variations.
Please note: This EKX sound library extension for EZkeys 2 is a so-called "Legacy EKX", as it was originally recorded as a former EZkeys 1 sound library. A "Legacy EKX" can be loaded and used in both the previous version EZkeys 1 and the current version EZkeys 2, unlike the soundlibrary extensions produced exclusively for EZkeys 2. Users who still use EZkeys 1 exclusively and do not want to switch to EZkeys 2 can still easily extend their existing EZkeys 1 with "Legacy EKXs".
