Pristine Peaks IE is a specialized version of the stereo Pristine Peaks limiter, designed for multi-channel surround and immersive audio applications. It serves as an ultra-low distortion peak limiter for both mixing and mastering, supporting up to 12 channels of audio ranging from mono to 7.1.4 channel-based tracks and buses. Not limited to peak control, Pristine Peaks IE functions as a multi-channel editing tool, allowing level trimming, muting, and individual channel extraction within a multi-channel audio stream. It employs a unique dynamics control approach that ensures a clean sound without distortion even at high gain reduction levels, avoiding saturation or clipping by applying gain changes to the entire waveform.
