Slide Guitar 2 gives you the distinctive sound of the electric guitar. Packed full of moody electric slide licks played with both steel and glass bottlenecks, these performances will bring character and attitude to any down-tempo blues grooves. If your tunes need an authentic slice of the delta, or to capture the heat of the desert, Slide Guitar 2 will take you there.

Slide Guitar 2 contains 1.7 GB of sample data and over 450 individual electric slide guitar loops:

The original tempos vary between 92 and 128 BPM but the performances focus on a laid-back, half-time, feel. Individual phrases are up to 42 seconds in length. Phrases within a folder can easily be linked to create extended performances and suitable ending phrases are included.

To provide maximum flexibility when mixing, each phrase is supplied in three different versions. The DI recordings let you add your own choice of amp modelling and effects. The Amp versions were recorded from the amplifier and are ready for your choice of reverb or delay. The FX version provides a blend of the DI and amp but with some additional effects added, mix-ready for instant results.

Distinctive Electric Slide Guitar Sound

Like the first volume, Slide Guitar 2 is the perfect complement to our Delta Blues title as all three libraries share the same 10 performance folders, allowing you to easily combine loops and phrases from each into a single composition. With a brighter tone and more sustain, the sound has distinctive edge, giving the electric slide performances here a different flavour to the acoustic resonator slide of the first release.
