Chroma Bells is a sample collection of 12 tuned steel, brass and bronze hand bells from England, India, China and Tibet. Every single one has its own distinctive brilliantly or darkly resonant tone, offering an amazing variety to fit any arrangement. They work well for composing complete melodies, enhancing percussion arrangements, and simply serving as simple sound effects.

For incredibly dynamic natural playability and stunning acoustic realism, Soundiron recorded single-note rings, sustained rolls, and unusual muted articulations. Each of these sounds was captured using considerable velocity-layering and round robin variations. Three stereo microphone settings are available for you to freely mix and layer. For dry, crisp, and firmly present tonality, you'll find the traditional ultra-close pair of large-diaphragm studio microphones from Soundiron. For a roomy sound, there is also a wide-spaced overhead pair of pencil omnis. Finally, just for fun, they employed a pair of very shabby tin can mics that have rounded transients and a warm mid-range that have a raw, yet yet smooth mid-century vintage lofi character.
