Alpine Volksmusik 2 is the independent sequel to the popular Alpine Volksmusik Library, offering 42 unique patches for folk and brass music. The library covers all the instruments you need for authentic productions of Swiss Folk Music, Austrian Stubenmusik and German Marching Music.
All instruments were carefully recorded and feature multiple articulations, accessible via keyswitches for authentic performance behavior. The interface makes it easy to shape and customize each sound. Alongside standard controls like volume, pan, and reverb, each instrument and patch includes dedicated parameters.
Alpine Volksmusik 2 can be used in many ways. Are you a singer or instrumental soloist arranging your own pieces? Do you need half-playbacks for live performances? Or additional layers for studio recordings? Or pre-productions for guest musicians? The Instruments

Swiss instrumentation is represented by two Schwyzerörgeli, the Swiss version of the diatonic accordion. A five-course Appenzell dulcimer, an Alphorn ensemble, and a bowed double bass complete the typical Swiss sound.

Austria offers a collection of instruments for Stubenmusik, one of the most traditional forms of alpine folk music. Instruments such as zither, guitar, harp, and plucked double bass form the foundation. This group also includes Styrian harmonicas (Steirische), accordion, ocarina, and recorder. The “Schuhplattler” add a rustic atmosphere with clapping and stomping.
If you are missing the three-voiced chromatic dulcimer by Salzburg musician Tobi Reiser, this instrument is part of the original library “Alpine Volksmusik 1”.
