Developed in collaboration with Musicmakers, designers of popular DIY musical instrument kits and music therapy instruments, Musicmakers Volume 1 features 10 folk and world instruments including harp, lyre, mountain dulcimer, mandola, handpan, and more.

Recorded with four mic arrays representing both the finest in modern mic design and vintage tone, these instruments are designed to be highly flexible to fit into nearly any context yet be entirely consistent with each other when used together.

It's rare that I can review a product the day I buy it, but this library is spectacular! Every instrument in this set of 11 (not 10 as the ads say -- the *** Box was added after the marketing was set up) has something useful and beautiful in it. I can't remember the last time I played through a set of instruments like these and found something inspiring in every one.Add to this that I thought I had found some bugs and immediately reported them: Versilian got back to me immediately with clear explanations of how to overcome the issues I had encountered.Well done on all counts!

Please notice: This library can not be used with the free Kontakt Player! To use this "Open Kontakt" format, you need a full version of Kontakt, which is included in products such as Komplete or Komplete Ultimate.
