SignalScope XM is Faber Acoustical's dynamic signal analysis, data acquisition, and acoustics app for Mac. The culmination of over 20 years of development experience on Apple platforms, SignalScope XM offers basic, advanced, and professional tool sets to meet your analysis and measurement needs in acoustics, audio, and electroacoustics. SignalScope XM’s Pro Tool Set includes access to a suite of basic, advanced, and professional analysis and measurement tools, plus a suite of features designed for professional users and specialized hardware support, such as auto-loading factory-supplied microphone sensitivities for select USB microphones, updated nominal voltage sensitivities for select audio input devices, and automatic calibration for audio input devices that include built-in sensitivity information.

Please note that SignalScope XM Pro Tool Set is compatible with macOS only.

• Assign engineering units to your input signals and calibrate external transducers for accurate measurements

• Assign input channel units and sensitivities for individual USB Audio devices

• Connect lab-grade microphones and sensors to your Mac, with suitable interface hardware, for precise measurements

• Load microphone frequency response data (FRD) and apply frequency response correction (FRC) to FFT-based measurements

• Manually adjust audio sample rates, even up to 768 kHz, depending on input hardware

• Save acquired measurement data to CSV, tab-delimited ASCII text, or MAT files

• Save high-resolution analyzer display images to PDF files

• User-defined custom metadata in saved audio and data files

• Data logging support in the Level Meter, Octave Analyzer, and Noise Dosimeter

• Percentile exceeded sound levels in the Level Meter and Octave Analyzer

• NC, RNC, and NR references curves, NC, SIL, and NR values in the Octave Analyzer

• Voltage decibel levels can be displayed in dBV or dBu

• Load data from multiple data files to generate average curves in the FFT, Octave, and Dual FFT tools
